The Lamarche McGuinty Inc. quarry was created on the site of the Hilton mine in Bristol, Quebec, when it closed in 1977. Its development as a large producer of aggregate was made possible due to the extensive reserves available on site, close to 100 million metric tons of high quality stone and sand.
Maurice Lamarche and Gordon McGuinty Inc. purchased the closing mine to sell the mining equipment and exploit the aggregate reserves. After a few years, Maurice Lamarche and his Family became the unique owners of the Company.
Today, Marie-France Lamarche is the President and Daniel Lamarche, the General Manager.
