Linked to our core values, we support Nature Conservancy Canada with its mission:
Leading in the conservation of private lands in Canada and not-for-profit organization, Nature Conservancy Canada (NCC) works to protect our most important natural treasures — the natural areas that sustain Canada’s plants and wildlife.
By Investing in conservation, NCC allows natural areas to remain a shelter for wildlife, a playground for outdoors, and is an essential resource for purifying air and water. With sustained collaborations, NCC protects areas of natural diversity for their intrinsic value and for the benefit of our children and those after them. To find out more:

The mass disappearance of bees is a worldwide phenomenon. Important losses have been registered in the last fifteen years. North America is particularly affected and, in Canada, beekeepers loose yearly, on average, 25% of their bees. The most affected province is Ontario: in 2014, losses reached 58%, a record. In the province of Quebec, there was two or three times the usual rate of mortality. The main causes identified are the increasing use of monocultures and of certain pesticides. Yet, bees are a vital link in the protection of biodiversity.
Lamarche McGuinty Inc. collaborates with ‘Intermiel Inc. from Mirabel, Québec and hosts, each year a number of beehives to offer a staging and reproduction area on its territory – where bees can pollinate wild flowers and produce up to 75 kilos of honey while contributing to the development of the vegetative cover.
Its one of our contributions to the protection of biodiversity.
